Do something as big as a house.

Our volunteers contribute their time as individuals from all walks of life and professions and as groups from businesses, congregations, university students and civic organizations. Working in small teams with a Habitat for Humanity Construction Supervisor, they pound nails, paint, saw, spackle, put up drywall — you name it! We also have non-construction volunteer opportunities on our committees and assisting with out-of-town groups.

Your donation enables us to build homes

Without your donation, we couldn’t build a single home. Even with an army of volunteers, we would have no supervision to keep those volunteers safe and organize the work. Without materials and tools, we couldn’t lay a foundation or put up a wall.

Become a Habitat home owner

It is the objective of Habitat for Humanity of Gallatin Valley to provide simple, decent housing for lower income partner families. Such homes must provide the family with adequate living space, economic feasibility, shelter, security, privacy, and community accessibility.

Your Bozeman, Montana ReStore

Habitat operates a thrift store at 230 Arden Drive, Bruce Industrial Park in Belgrade. All profits from the store go directly into home building. Volunteers are needed for retail sales, merchandise display, pricing, donation pick-up, and other tasks. To donate time or materials call 388-2851.

Women Build

Women Build brings together women from all walks of life to help build Habitat for Humanity houses. Women Build challenges and empowers women to build safe, healthy housing where families can flourish and grow to be all that they can be. The Women Build program enables women to discover for themselves that they can build Habitat homes. No construction knowledge necessary!

Cars for Homes program

The Cars for Homes™ vehicle donation program turns donated cars, trucks, RVs and other vehicles into funds that help Habitat for Humanity build homes in partnership with families in need of decent, affordable shelter. Habitat for Humanity Cars for Homes™ accepts most whole (no missing engines, trunks, etc.) cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, trailers and recreational vehicles with proper title information.

We need skilled and unskilled individuals and groups to partner with us in building Habitat homes, as well as to assist us with volunteer management. Expert sub-contractors such as installers, drywallers and carpenters are particularly needed.

Make an in-kind donation

Often-times a donation of goods and materials can be just as helpful as your monetary support. While there are certain restrictions on the types of building materials that we can accept, there are always office supplies, fundraising prizes and other goods and services that you can donate.
