Building hope, changing lives

Habitat Coming to West Yellowstone

Property has been purchased and plans are being made for a home to go up in the Hebgen Lake Estates in West Yellowstone starting around May 2016! Habitat for Humanity of Gallatin Valley is prompted to take action in West Yellowstone due to the lack of affordable housing for the work-force in one of the most nationally beloved parks.

On September 2nd and 9th, HfHGV’s Executive Director, David Magistrelli, will meet with the community members of West Yellowstone at the Povah Center at 7pm to discuss the steps to become a qualified Partner Family. Families that make $40,000 or less per year and are interested in home-ownership in the West Yellowstone community are encouraged to join the meetings to learn more.

Hello! I have gotten my mail in West Yellowstone for 35 years
have 1300 sq. feet of very good condition carpet and pad – neutral earth tone color ( brown/ grey tone sculptured pile)

It’s available free for the taking and use for Habitat for humanity project(s) in West….or for any other cause such as any family or individual who could benefit.
….please reply to let me know if there is a way for me to donate
this carpeting and pad…I cannot remove it myself but I can get it
    to you.

I have friends who will transport the carpet and pad to you and leave it at the designated place.

Many thanks and please reply ASAP….It’s important that I know if you can or cannot make use of these free materials

  2. Dear Penny,
Thank you for thinking of us. Unfortunately, we have already purchased flooring for the house in West Yellowstone. If you still want to donate the carpet and pad to us, the ReStore would be happy to recieve it. If you can have someone remove it and bring it to our store in Belgrade, they can take it. They cannot “uninstall or remove” anything that is being donated, and they do not have pick-ups in that area. Their phone number is 406-388-2851 if you have any questions.
